GDPR
What is the GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation is the new European data protection law that governs the collection, use, transfer, and storage of data for individuals in the EU. The new regulations are designed to provide greater control over personal data and transparency regarding your rights and how your data is used.
The GDPR took effect on May 25, 2018.
The GDPR applies specifically to data that contains personally identifiable information. Examples of personal data under the GDPR include names, identification numbers, locations, and online identifiers, such as IP (Internet Protocol) numbers and addresses.
Although the GDPR is an EU directive, any company that does business with EU residents will be subject to the GDPR.
Changes to our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy has been updated to ensure that it meets the high standards of data transparency and clearly explains the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and controls you have in this regard. You can view our Privacy Policy here on the telediag.com website.
Is the TeleDiag GDPR standard compliant?

We strongly encourage you to read our updated Legal Notice and Privacy Policy for more information about your personal data.
How does the GDPR affect my data protection rights?
The GDPR has strengthened data protection and now gives individuals the right to:
• Request that their data be deleted under the “right to be forgotten” provision
• Give consent for companies to collect data
• Withdraw consent for the use of their data at any time
• Update, correct, and export their data
In addition, TeleDiag is committed to:
• Ensuring the security and confidentiality of the personal data we collect from you
• Ensuring that we only collect and process the data necessary to provide you with our services and that we are transparent about how we use your data
• Enforcing data retention limits so that your data is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Teleradiology
How is our approach to teleradiology different?
The TeleDiag network is the result of a project launched by renowned French radiologists (both hospital-based and in private practice), who prioritize a collaborative, high-quality, and equitable approach to teleradiology, in the best interests of patients.
Using a strictly qualitative approach, we have established a nationwide network (covering metropolitan France and the overseas departments and territories) of expertise and organizational structures that are set to expand.
The very foundation of this network of physicians is built on cooperation (anyone can be both a user and a contributor to the network, which is thus open to the community; as a result, we regularly welcome new members) and equity (patients, radiologists, and sites), with everyone united by a common technical foundation, a commitment to quality and ethical standards, and the organizational model.
This network complements existing organizations; it is not intended to replace the connection between radiologists and regional sites. We therefore prioritize supporting local resources over outsourcing by implementing a system of prioritization and escalation.
